Dr. Sylvie Goulet is a psychologist with a solid clinical experience acquired during several years of work at the McGill University Health Centre. She has contributed to the training of a large number of doctoral candidates in psychology. She offers consultations to adults who suffer from anxiety, low self-esteem, depression, grief, emotional and relationship difficulties. Dr. Goulet specializes in the treatment of post-traumatic stress and addictions and her expertise is recognized in post-bariatric surgery psychological follow-up. She works with individuals, couples and families.

Her clinical approach is based on cognitive, acceptance and dialectical therapy and aims at understanding the whole person in his or her context. Her approach is directed towards problem solving and the development of new strategies for the search for wellness. Therapy can be done in French or English and always in a warm and collaborative atmosphere.
